Sessions of the Assembly (from 16th to 29th)

 

This chapter provides philatelic material related to the 16th, 18th, 21th, 28th and 29th Sessions of the Assembly. The suitable place for the Sessions of the Assembly has been, since 1974, invariably in Montreal, Canada.

28th Session (Extraordinary Session, held in Montreal, Canada, 22 to 26 October 1990):

 

 

 

At this Session, the number of Council Members was raised from 33 to 36 (Resolution A28-1). This amendment to the Chicago Convention came into force on 28 November 2002.
