The 45th anniversary
In December 1989, ICAO planned to celebrate its 45th anniversary. Celebrations had to be cancelled further to the École Polytechnique Massacre, also known as the Montréal Massacre, occurred on 6 December 1989, at the École Polytechnique in Montréal (an engineering school affiliated with the Université de Montréal), Québec, Canada. No stamps were issued to commemorate the 45th anniversary of ICAO.
